Throughout the years, I've had the opportunity to collaborate with Taylor Hecocks of King Shelter on various projects, including photography, video production, and design. These collaborations have allowed me to enhance my skills in art direction. Below are a few of my favorite projects:
  



LIVE SHOWS PHOTOGRAPHY

Capturing live performances of bands is among my favorite activities. I thoroughly enjoy immersing myself in the midst of the crowd, capturing dynamic shots of the band as they perform. I've had the privilege of shooting King Shelter on several occasions, and here are a selection of my favorite shots from over the years.ROLE: PHOTOGRAPHER

ALL I NEED PROFORMANCE DIRECTING + VIDEOGRAPHY


I directed and shot a live music video featuring King Shelter performing "All I Need," a Radiohead cover. The collaboration wouldn't have been possible without the invaluable support of Max Klieber, who co-directed and edited the video. The concept is elegantly simple, employing mirrors to enhance viewer engagement. This idea spontaneously arose when we recognized the need for additional movement in the video.ROLE: DIRECTION + VIDEOGRAPHY

My photography sweet spot has always been working with bands—that's where my journey in photography began back in high school. Taylor Hecocks of King Shelter has consistently given me the freedom to explore my creativity and capture whatever I found compelling. ALBUM ART DESIGN


When Taylor pitched a new concept for his upcoming album, I was thrilled to develop a visual look for both the single and album art. I conceptualized, shot, and edited each of these shots myself. The vibe was intended to be surreal, dark, and brooding, with a subtle nod to 1980s horror.ROLE: PHOTOGRAPHY + DESIGN

CREATURE PREACHER MUSIC VIDEO EDITING


King Shelter had a music video filmed and shot, but when the final edit arrived, Taylor expressed some reservations about the editing style and the lack of storytelling. I stepped in and took over the editing process to infuse the video with a stronger narrative, increase intensity, and add a touch of grit to the final product. I'm thrilled with the outcome of the final edit.ROLE: EDITING
